Dr. Daniela Carbone knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of five years old. She graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor in Science degree in 2005 and then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Nutrition. She graduated from St. Matthew's University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and completed clinical training at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2011.
Following graduation, she stayed in the midwest and practiced small animal medicine in Danville, Illinois for two years. She has worked as both an associate and relief veterinarian in Dutchess, Putnam, Orange and Westchester counties over the past three years, allowing her to become a part of a wide area of the Hudson Valley Community.
Dr. Carbone’s interests include nutrition and alternative therapies such as nutraceuticals, homeopathy, and herbal medicine for dogs and cats.
Her goal is to provide our clients and their pets with high-quality medical and surgical care. Dr. Carbone stays current with new knowledge and techniques through continuing education seminars and training sessions. These training sessions allow her to practice new veterinary procedures, products, and preventive health care measures available to your pet.
When not at work, Dr. Carbone enjoys spending time with her family and her toy poodle, Annabelle that she rescued in 2008.
Dr. Carbone is also fluent in Italian.
