Dr. Valerie Ammirato was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended Iona College and received her Bachelors of Science in Biology. She graduated from St. George’s University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and went to The University of Georgia for her clinical training. Her special interests include canine and feline internal medicine, preventative care, and exotics. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going hiking, and traveling around the world.
